When the weather changes, keep care in view.

Product information by PlantlyUpdated

Plantly can use local weather context to bring relevant outdoor care forward during hot conditions. It adds another piece of information to the plant profile, your observations, and care feedback.

Weather as part of the picture

A plant outside can experience changing conditions that a fixed interval does not describe. Weather context helps Plantly account for relevant heat when planning outdoor care. This requires location permission and available weather data.

Your observations still matter

Weather data does not measure the moisture inside a pot and Plantly does not water plants automatically. Check the plant and its growing conditions before acting. When the timing does not fit, record care feedback so the routine reflects what you observed.

How to get started

  1. Keep the location current

Record where the plant actually lives.

  2. Allow local weather context

Enable location permission if you want to use this feature.

  3. Review relevant care

Check the plant and record care or feedback when the timing changes.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the calendar without location permission?

Yes. The care calendar remains available; local weather context needs location access and weather data.

Does the app measure soil moisture?

No. Weather context complements your observations; it is not a sensor inside the pot.
